WRK 800 Centrifugal Slurry Pump Impeller and Suction-liner

Many power plants converting to wet FGD scrubbers have incorporated the larger, high-volume and high specific-speed recycle pumps like the Warman GSL style. Although these pumps were designed for absorber service, the variable abrasive & corrosive nature of this slurry process may not have been taken into consideration. Townley has designed a unique robust impeller and an adjustable suction liner to upgrade your existing pumps without changing any hydraulic or physical parameters.

WRK Wet-end Retrofit Kit Centrifugal Slurry pump

The WRK wet-ends ranging from the smaller 3X4 pumps to the larger 550 have the same patented hydraulic features found on the UBD and were created as a direct change out with split case style OEM pumps found in process and power plant scrubbers. These simple to install 3-4 part wet-ends fit exactly where the OEM was installed. Townley has an array of alloys to match the unique environment found in the corrosive and abrasive circuits found in these industries. Many sizes are now available as complete "bare-shaft" assemblies. But if you need more power, look into our submersible slurry pumps.

These patented slurry pumps have a recessed volute with matching nesting impeller shrouds. This unique design in many cases improves operational efficiency and reduces recirculation of solids, improving the overall life cycle of wear parts.

Available in high chrome or other robust alloys, this versatile pump can operate with large solids on the front end of the mines and abrasive media found in mill pumps. Also available with Towniprene urethane impellers and liners, this is perfectly suited to fine feed as found in tailings discharge. The UBD pump easily mounts to OEM drive components at fits existing piping exactly.

Our centrifugal slurry pump parts are cast in our North American "State of the art" white iron foundry and finished in our large-scale CNC machine shop.
